TYPO3 and extensions upgraded

CMS infrastructure, including TYPO3 and its extensions, was upgraded Thursday through Sunday and now includes several new features and bug fixes.  Most notably,

  • Move pages and page contents in draft workspaces
  • Full workspace previews (to show work-in-progress to persons who do not have a CMS account)
    • For these preview links to be created correctly, you must log into your site directly at SITENAME/typo3, for example, its.ndsu.edu/typo3.  A table of login URLs is provided at www.ndsu.edu/cms
  • A faster page tree, complete with filtering
  • Updated RTE features such as special formatted bullet lists (not yet configured) and support for Safari browser
  • Always visible working buttons (save/close)
