You should be aware that the most recent Firefox update 3.0.11, released June 11, is not compatible with the TYPO3 rich text editor.

Symptom: links inserted using the rich text editor are prefixed with "https://workspaces.ndsu.edu/typo3/" resulting in a link like  workspaces.ndsu.edu/typo3/http://www.ndsu.edu/yourlink instead of www.ndsu.edu/yourlink .

This applies to several types of links, including links to files and external links.

The recommended work-around is to use Internet Explorer.
