The CMS error pages have been updated to match the style of error pages deployed on the main NDSU Web server for www.ndsu.edu sites.
Since error pages do not use the template from a site, all non-www.ndsu.edu sites use a generic error page that does not use the default NDSU template and does not refer to NDSU in the text of the error message. This also applies to NDSU sites still using the deprecated virtual host URL format (site.ndsu.edu instead of www.ndsu.edu/site).
If a visitor encounters an error page and follows the contact us link embedded in the error page and a site has deleted the contact page, the message:
"Sorry, but we haven't created a contact page. Please look us up in the site status list to identify who to email with feedback."
will display instead of a link to the contact page. Avoid this message by re-creating the contact page if it was deleted.
