The new NDSU template has been published. The process took a few hours, as there was a lot of content changes in the #ndsu-new-template draft workspace that was not related to the template change. The workspace is now disabled.
Once the publish was complete, some final touches that couldn't be done before the template switch were rolled out. At this point, the majority of what you see should be correct/as intended.
- As always, if you use CMS to change your department's template (footer, banner text) you must Clear Branch Cache before you will see the change in the department pages.
- If your department's footer or banner text is not correct, you can update it following the Update Template knowledge base entry.
In any event, if you see other minor changes trickle through over the next few hours, it is most likely due to cleaning up after the switch. If anything doesn't seem right, please report it to the IT Help Desk.
Something broken?
If you see something that is not correct (doesn't work right, doesn't appear the way it did in the user group meeting, or otherwise seems broken), it is important that you report it to the IT Help Desk. Reports submitted directly to other personnel will not be addressed.
Template feedback?
If you missed the user group meeting and want to submit feedback about the appearance/layout of the new template, you may submit it to University Relations. All technical questions should still go to the IT Help Desk.
Where is the template documentation?
It is still available in the CMS Knowledge Base.
A shortcut page to the most relevant topics is provided.
