Up until recently, the main www.its.ndsu.edu page was cached for periods of 10 minutes.  This meant that, if another person had not already visited the page within the past 10 minutes, a new visitor would have a slight delay in opening the page as the page was generated.

The page cache was clearing to accomodate the dynamic content (notably the outages and news).

To accomodate this, I configured an extension which should clear the cache when the content is changed.  That is, the front page cache should clear when either ITS news or outages are added.  Let me know if you notice behavior to indicate otherwise.
