Account Manager - ArchKey Technologies/Parsons Electric

What are your primary job responsibilities?

I work with our Essentia Health account. I do the walkthroughs, proposals/estimates, and manage all of our projects for Essentia Health. For the managing side, I order materials, work with the customer for scheduling, coordinate with technicians and engineers, and closeout/invoice projects.

Describe what your day-to-day work life looks like.

Every day is different which makes it fun! Typically, right away in the morning, I respond to emails and make sure my technicians have everything for the day. I work with them and the other members of my team to make sure they have everything to accomplish the job that day. Most weeks there is a day I'm in the field either at a walkthrough or at a project meeting. I might also be doing a product demo with Essentia on new technology or working on estimates/proposals. A lot of communication and collaboration between my coworkers, the customer, technicians, and general contractors.

What is most rewarding about your job?

Working with my coworkers to solve issues. You're only as good as the team you surround yourself with!

What is most challenging about your job?

The organized chaos. Things constantly change and you have to be ready to think on your toes and adapt on the fly.
