Get ready to dig in and grow some plants! Plant your very own pea or bean and watch it grow right before your eyes. Watch it sprout, change, and thrive as you document every step in our sketchbooks! Along the way, you’ll also get creative by drawing, painting, and sculpting plants, trees, and flowers. You’ll even learn the science of mixing watercolor paints to create your own colorful masterpieces! Learners will take home their plants at the end of the week.

Using modeling clay and paint, they'll craft miniature 3D models of the food items featured on their menu. Join in a week of challenges and fun exploring a math concept that is found all around! When you know what to look for it's easy to start Seeing Symmetry! Explore the concept of symmetry by engaging in hands on activities using geoboards, pattern blocks, mirrors, clay, drawings, models, photographs and other random objects. By the end of the week, they will have 2 special art projects to take home as well. These include: a symmetrical Cicada and a Hawaiian Quilt collage.
