The educational leadership program delivers an approved credential program to North Dakota residents and an approved licensure program to Minnesota residents. In addition to the traditional campus-based programs, practicing teachers can earn an advanced degree focuses on leading educational change through our innovative Teacher Leader Academies.
The Education Doctoral Programs are an active member of the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate, a consortium of over 100 schools of education in the US, Canada, and New Zealand working collaboratively to improve professional preparation in education at the highest level.
Through a generous grant from the Archibald Bush Foundation of MN, NDSU, along with our partners at Minnesota State University-Moorhead and Valley City State University, have made striking improvements to our teacher preparation programs to move our programs into the 21st Century and focus on research-based best practices. Our three institutions are committed to recruiting the best candidates into our programs, preparing them to meet today's educational demands, and working with school districts to support our graduates during their first years of teaching.
