Dr. Ali Amiri is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the North Dakota State University. Dr. Amiri teaches variety of courses such as Introduction to Mechanical Engineering Profession, Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer as well as coordinating Senior Design projects. Areas of research interest of Dr. Amiri include fiber-reinforced composites, sustainable materials science, bio-based polymeric materials, mechanical design, biomedical engineering, tissue engineering and additive manufacturing of advanced materials.
