Hypsithocus Bergroth,
1927
Hypsithocus
Bergroth, 1927: 671-672.
Type species:
Hypsithocus hudsonae Bergroth, 1927, by
monotypy.
Included Species:
hudsonae Bergroth, 1927
Comments:
This genus is monotypic, the only known species,
hudsonae, being endemic to New Zealand. Placement of Hypsithocus
in the Carpocorini is based primarily on Gross (1976) who speculated that this
genus may be related to the Carpocoris group of genera.
