Quick Loader

    Quick Loaders were one of the more common varieties of this type of powder gun.  They were manufactured by the American Can Co., New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, and they came in many different colors.  Interestingly, many people believe these were used to load gun powder into guns (the name does suggest this as a possible use), but as you can see from the image of the box below, the original intent was for insect control.
