Service Overview

Our service and engagement activities invest an awareness of the perspectives of society, and they provide focus for research and education. They also provide an outlet for dissemination towards existing and emerging problems in civil and environmental infrastructure, and an avenue to raise public awareness and to promote accomplishments of the department.One of my career goals is to facilitate and participate in teams studying sustainability challenges in engineered natural/human systems. Investing perspective occurs through sustained collaborations within diverse teams solving problems facing local to international partners. Perspective is also gained through engagement with the broad range of stakeholders in a study area.
