Aspire Alliance
NDSU is participating in the nationwide, National Science Foundation funded Aspire: The National Alliance for Inclusive and Diverse STEM Faculty grant. NDSU is a member of the second cohort. View all participating institutions.
We invite NDSU faculty and administrators to participate in upcoming professional development opportunities offered through this grant. Those opportunities will be posted to this webpage as events are announced or distributed through email as appropriate.
The goal of the grant is to develop inclusive and diverse STEM faculty across the nation by aligning and reinforcing professioanl development, hiring and retention practices of STEM faculty simultaneously at institutional, regional, and national levels. NDSU hopes to benefit from the collective knowledge of the participating universities to create change for underrepresented groups (URG) on campus.
The Aspire grant is coordinated by the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities (APLU) and the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
