CONTRIBUTORS
Wes Offerman is a converted Bison fan who seems to spend all hours of the day and night trying to share with the world the amazing exploits of NDSU student athletes. He works in the athletic media relations office, specifically promoting men's basketball, wrestling, volleyball, track and field, and cross country teams. Offerman assists local, regional and national media who have interest in covering the Bison, creates content for GoBison.com and operates several athletics Twitter accounts. He is a Charles City, Iowa, native, who attended a university (and used to be a huge fan of) one of NDSU's football rivals that will remain unnamed. His favorite experiences in two years at NDSU include Riley Dolezal's stunning USA title in the javelin, wrestler Trent Sprenkle's win over the defending NCAA champion, and the recent NCAA basketball tournament victory over Oklahoma.
Matthew Wagenius is an ambitious sophomore at NDSU, studying public relations, international studies, and entrepreneurship. Matt also is very active on campus, participating in a fraternity, and student government, including a role last year as a public relations executive. In addition, to no one's surprise, he is active in pursuing professional internships. Following his semester with University Relations, this summer he has a marketing internship with The Kilbourne Group. Oh, and for the fall semester, he will be living in Aix-en-Provence, France, taking classes completely taught in French. His ambitious plan for not long after graduation is to be captain of his own public relations and branding firm.
