The Ph.D. and M.S. programs in Materials and Nanotechnology at NDSU are open to qualified graduates of universities and colleges of recognized standing. To be considered for admission, the applicant must
1. Hold a baccalaureate or graduate degree from an educational institution of recognized standing. Students with a degree in the disciplines of chemistry, engineering, material science and engineering, physics, polymer science, polymer engineering, or related fields will be considered for admission.
2. At the baccalaureate or graduate level, have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) in all courses of at least 3.0 or equivalent.
Applicants are also strongly encouraged to provide scores for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) in the formal application.
