The Sonia Kovalevsky Mathematics High School Day is a program of mathematics activities for young women. High school teachers from throughout North Dakota and Western Minnesota are invited to bring their female students to Fargo to meet the NDSU mathematics faculty, professional women from the Fargo area who use math in their careers, and other high school students who are interested in math. We will have several workshops through which we hope to inspire the participants to continue their study of mathematics.

All participants will receive prizes. A lunch will be also provided. For those groups travelling more than 100 miles round trip we can provide mileage reimbursement and make a hotel reservation for Friday night, free of charge. Please indicate if you will need a hotel reservation when you complete the registration form

Please note that this year's Sonia Kovalevsky Day will be held at NDSU Minard Hall, Room 112.

Directions from Interstate 29: Follow Interstate 29 to the 12th Avenue exit (Exit 66). Follow 12th Avenue east. As you go on the bridge, stay on the right lane. Continue following 12th Avenue until you reach the T Parking lot on your right. Parking is free. An NDSU campus map is available-- the T parking lot is at the very bottom, and Minard Building is building #42.
