The mission of NDSU Museum and Collections is to ensure preservation of objects, artifacts, and specimens resulting from the work of members of our community so they remain broadly accessible to students, teachers, researchers, and other community members engaged in the ongoing mission of the university. We collaboratively connect diverseaudiences to and through collections representing the past, present and future of NDSU.

Museum Galleries
The NDSU Museum Galleries and University Collections showcase a diverse range of collections that highlight the university's rich history, scientific achievements, and cultural heritage. Visitors can explore artifacts from various disciplines, including historical documents, rare specimens, and unique items from the mechanical, botanical, and historical costume collections. The galleries also feature exhibits on regional history, such as the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, offering an educational and engaging experience that connects the past to the present.
