Zip to Zap
Located on the first floor of the A. Glen Hill Center in the north hallway
On May 9th, 1969, over 1,000 students from NDSU, UND, and schools as far as Florida and California, descended upon Zap, North Dakota, for an end of the year party. By dawn, National Guardsmen armed with fixed bayonets had forced out the cold, tired, and intoxicated crowd.
How did a lighthearted excursion end in disaster?
