- Elongate-rectangular foveola visible
from above.
- Lateral carinae weakly constricted at
mid-length.
- Abdominal tergites banded with black
and green.
- Abdominal sternites yellow.
- Tegmen of male oval and fenestrate.
- Tegmen of female about ½ length of
abdomen.
- Hind femur unbanded, knees black.
- Hind tibia yellow to (rarely) orange.
Nymphs
- Elongate-rectangular foveola
distinctive for late spring and summer
nymphs.
- Face without vertical stripe pattern.
