- Fastigum with triangular depression
wider than long.
- Pronotum cut by one sulcus.
- Pronotum with 90o posterior
angle.
- Tegmen crossed by dark bands.
- Hindwing clear with outer 1/3
fuscous.
- Hind tibia brown with whitish basal
ring.
Nymphs
- Eye spotted rather than banded.
- Pronotum with distinct dorsal and
lateral carinae.
- Fore and mid- femur with four ridges (carinae) near apex on outer face.
- Differs from E. costalis only in shape
of fastigum and pronotal wedge
markings.
