Progression Options
WSC registered nursing AAS with additional coursework
- 2-year AAS sequence of study
- Additional required courses:
- ENGL 120 College Composition II
- COMM 110 Fundamentals of Public Speaking
- Social & Behavioral Sciences Course (Global Perspectives or Cultural Diversity)
- Humanities Course (Global Perspectives or Cultural Diversity)
- ND MATH Quantitative General Ed
- Direct admit to NDSU RN to BSN, with 2.75 nursing GPA
- 18 competency credits will be awarded at no cost upon finishing the first semester of the RN to BSN courses. (These credits will apply to the required 60 university credits required to graduate from NDSU).
- NDSU’s RN to BSN Program - 33 credits
- ENGL 325 Writing in the Health Professions – 3 credits
WSC Registered Nursing ASN
LPN sequence of study and RN courses
Plus completion of WSC Associate of Science Degree requirements*
- ENGL 120 English Composition II (3 credits)
- COMM 110 Fundamentals of Public Speaking (3 credits)
- Humanities and Fine Arts Electives (6 credits)
- Math 103 or higher (3 credits)
- Computer Science Elective (3 credits)
*As per WSU academic advisement
- Direct admit to NDSU RN to BSN, with 2.75 nursing GPA
- With completion of an Associate of Science degree at WSC, the NDSU lower-level general education required courses that have not been taken are waived.
- 25 competency credits will be awarded at no cost upon completion of the first semester of the RN to BSN Courses (these credits will apply to the required 60 university credits required to graduate from NDSU.)
