Dr. Kolby Schaeffer Fraase in the NDSU School of Nursing provided podium and poster presentations at the National Conference on Tobacco or Health (NCTOH) on June 27-30 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Schaeffer Frasse, assistant professor of practice in the NDSU School of Nursing, represented the grant team of Dr. Kelly Buettner-Schmidt. As a professor in the NDSU School of Nursing, Buettner-Schmidt leads the grant team for the North Dakota Department of Health Project titled Collaborative Tobacco Prevention and Control Activities.
The podium presentation by Schaeffer Fraase included “Zombie Blood and Pixie Tears: What's in a Name? A comprehensive methodology for e-liquid label analysis.” The conference session focused on tobacco product regulation with an emphasis on flavors which are often marketed to younger customers.
