After coming to US I passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination and was admitted to NDSU for my Master in Public Health. I graduated with my MPH in May 2016.

How did the NDSU MPH prepare you for the workforce?
The MPH program taught me in different ways for actual workforce. The various course readings, in class activities, assignments, research papers, power point presentation, group discussion, reflections and practicum experience have successfully prepared me for real-world public health jobs. The program polished my skills of public speaking and made me capable of working with different stakeholders. It enabled me to apply knowledge, tools and techniques in public health and/or community health settings. To get better understanding of practices of infection control, I learned how to use and find resources for answering questions, solving problems, and implementing statistical data. All the faculty members, staff and the program coordinator were very helpful. They do everything possible to help students.
