Meetings The NDSU Saddle and Sirloin Club was organized on March 15, 1918 under the direction of J.H. Shepperd and through the efforts of the livestock judging team that represented NDSU at the International Judging Contest in Chicago. The club was organized because they felt there was a need for an organization that would develop a greater interest in animal husbandry at NDSU. With approximately 200 members, today S/S is the largest organization on campus. The club participates in many events around campus and also holds many club activities. The main event the club puts on is the Little International, a livestock show held each year in Shepperd Arena. New members are always welcome to join. If you are interested in joining, come to a meetings on Wednesday night at 7:00pm in Shepperd Arena, pay $7 dues and get involved!
