My research area is in measure theoretical dynamical systems and
ergodic theory. Besides,
I am also interested in activities involving mathematics education, occasionally collaborate with folks conducting
research in education and other disciplines.
I firmly believe
that a university professor should undertake a balanced set of activities in
research, teaching, university

Outside of academic life, I enjoy outdoor activities: climbing, skiing (cross-country/downhill), jogging, and
playing (real) football (aka soccer - for reasons I don’t agree). I also enjoy playing chess (with my children), collecting semi-precious stones and minerals, and traveling.
