Adults
- Foveola triangular.
- Pronotum with a black lateral patch.
- Lateral carinae strongly constricted
and marked with whitish- the X
pattern.
- Wings shorter than abdomen.
- Hind femur with broken black bands.
- Hind tibia blue.
- Female subgenital plate with two
notches.
Nymphs
- Possess adult color pattern but with
greater contrasts, hind tibiae gray.
- Appear especially 'big-headed' as do
nymphs of A. elliotti and P. nebrascensis.
- Lateral foveola triangular.
- Nymphs in Spring and early Summer.
