Adults
- Black post-ocular stripe with lighter
spots.
- Pronotum somewhat 'saddle-shaped'
in side view. Posterior lobe canted
upward.
- Lateral lobes constricted near
principal sulcus.
- Male with ventral meso-sternal hump.
- Hind tibia blue, glaucus, or red.
- Hind femur banding variable, ventral
surface often orange.
- Male cercus flattened, turned slightly
upturned.
- Subanal plate bilobed.
- Furculae divergent.
- Female cercus with convex dorsal and
ventral surface
- Ovipositor without dorsal tooth.
Nymphs
- Eyes speckeled and faintly banded
(life).
- Post-ocular stripe extends onto metazona.
- Lateral white crescent on prozona and
below eye.
- Hind femur with broken dark cross
bands.
