Adults
- Pronotum wrinkled and tuberculate.
- Pronotum cut by two sulci.
- Tegmen with apical 1/3 finely spotted.
- Hindwings yellow with a clear apex
and crossed by a black band.
- Lower carina of hind femur expanded
into a ventral flange with a slightly
sinuate margin.
- Inner face of hind femur blue-black to
bright orange.
- Ourter face of hind femur with three
dark bands.
- Hind tibia coral red to orange,
especially on inner face.
- Adults in Spring and early Summer.
Nymphs
- Probably indistinguishable form
Xanthippus corallipes.
