Family Drepanidae,
Hook-tip moths
include 650 species world wide and 20 in North America. Three of the
seven species from the northern Great Plains have the combination of falcate
fws and M2 present on the evenly rounded hw; three species have
quadrifid fw venation (note presence of abdominal tympanum) and one pure
white species has lamellate antennae. |
