Schinia cumatilis (Grote 1865)

Common name: listed here as ‘Prairie sage flower moth.’

Hodges #: 11192.

Identification: Rfw 13.25 mm, ground color white, hw with discal spot and terminal line sharply marked.

Similar species: 11190.1, 11193, 11195, and 11199.

Distribution: western plains from southern Canada to Texas and Arizona, rarely west of the continental divide.

Hosts: Reported ovipositing on Artemisia frigida Willd.– Prairie sage.
