Tampa dimediatella Ragonot 1887

Common name: Listed here as ‘Small carmine snout moth.’

Hodges #: 6028.

Identification: Rfw 8.4 mm, fws carmine with broad whitish costal shade which includes apex, costal margin arched, fw lacking branched R veins, hw M3+ Cu1 longer than subtended branches.

Similar species: 6048, 6053.

Distribution: Gulf coast north to Missouri, apparently with additional (isolated?) local populations.

Hosts: Unknown.
