Identification: Rfw 17.3 mm, pattern in shades of olive green,
ventral base of fw orange, of hw dark brown. Pro-tibia with
enlarged setae forming 'fossorial claws.'
Similar species: 7874-- not in ND.
Distribution: Great plains region of North America and westward
in the south to Arizona.
Hosts: Larvae feed on Epilobium spp.-- willow-herb, and
Oenothera spp.-- evening primrose.
