Paectes oculatrix (Guenée 1852)

Common name: Eyed paectes.

Hodges #: 8957.

Identification: Rfw 12.3 mm, large ocellatus distinctive, male antennae bi-pectinate, the pecinations asymmetrical.

Similar species: none in North Dakota.

Distribution: Nova Scotia to Florida, west to Manitoba and Colorado.

Hosts: Larvae feed on Toxicodendron rydbergii (Small ex. Rydberg) Greene– Poison ivy.
