I am an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at North Dakota State University. My research is in commutative algebra and algebraic geometry, and I especially enjoy problems which can be approached combinatorially.
From 2019-2022, I was a postdoc at the University of Michigan, where I worked with Karen Smith. For the 2018-2019 academic year I was a postdoc at the University of Bristol working with Fatemeh Mohammadi. I got my PhD in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Chicago in Summer 2018 under the supervision of Kevin Tucker. I'm originally from southern California, and I graduated from UCLA with a BS in Mathematics in Spring 2012.
