• Reporters in a war: Just how dangerous is it? Plenty risky, and Iraq is worse than most.

Some of the world's great news sources on the next sometimes offer opinions in dramatic contrast to what we read in United States Newspapers. For instance:

• Al Ahram of Cairo, the "Times of the Middle East."
• Pravda of Russia, once the great Communist propaganda sheet, now dramatically changed with the end of the Soviet Union.
• Al Jezeera, web site of the television news network offering a strong--and controversial--alternative voice to Western-dominated broadcast news.
