About Me
Dr. Zhibin Lin is currently an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering at North Dakota State University. He received his Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010. Pior to joining at NDSU, Dr. Lin was a postodoc at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Prof. Genda Chen's group.
Dr. Lin’s primary research goals are toward understanding of performance of structures and proposing advanced civil infrastructural materials to develop high-performance resilient and sustainable civil infrastructure systems. Research areas mainly focus on: Civil Infrastructural Materials, Performance, and Diagnosis.
PhD student Position
We are looking for motivated, self-driven full-time PhD student(s) to join us in the fields of structural coating or advanced engineered materials, or corrosion control and mitigaiton in this summer 2020. The qualications: (a) M.S. with a background in structural engineering or material engineering; and (b) Strong research background in material synthesis and material characterization.
