Kirstin Saulsbury has accepted the position of RCA Business and Program Manager, effective December 1, 2024. 

Saulsbury has served as an NDSU project coordinator since May 2022, splitting her time between supporting NDSU Welch Faculty Fellow Professor Ying Huang's NSF EPSCoR Track 2 (AI SUSTEIN) work in the NDSU Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering department and coordinating many undergraduate activities and programs in the RCA office including managing the NIH INBRE grant.

With more than 25 years in banking, financial, and project coordination, Saulsbury brings a proven track record and expertise in program management, federal grants, managing teams, regulatory compliance, financial data analysis, contract management, and implementation of new programs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead and an MBA from the University of Mary. 

Saulsbury will be a member of the Strategic Research Initiatives team and will report to RCA Associate Vice President for Strategic Research Initiatives Sheri Anderson.
