Residence Life
- Campaigning/Advertising Policies and Procedures: Please fully read and follow the policies and procedures for the distribution of materials in the residence halls and apartments.
- Mailbox Stuffers: Mailbox stuffers are not allowed in NDSU residence halls.
- Posters: Organizations and departments may deliver posters to the Department of Residence Life office for approval and distribution.
Qty allowed: 16 for halls; 18 for apartments.
- Code of Student Conduct: Rights and Responsibilities of Community: A Code of Student Conduct is the document that sets forth expectations of student behavior at NDSU. Students who need to complete a release form in order for Residence Life staff to discuss discipline incidents with parents may download the form here.
- First-Year Student Living: Quick and easy information about on-campus living spaces for incoming, first-year students.
- Living On Campus: Discover the on-campus living experience at NDSU with Residence Life and Dining.
- Residence Life and Dining Handbook: One of NDSU's policy and procedures documents for residence hall and apartment students.
- Room/Space Reservation Request Form: Any individual or group wanting to reserve Cater Hall's reservable spaces, Pavek volleyball court, Niskanen Community Center or an MLLC classroom must complete this form two weeks in advance of your event. By submitting this request, you are agreeing to the Room Reservation Policies and Procedures. Questions about this process can be emailed to NDSU-RESLIFE-RESERVATIONS@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU .
- Upper-Division Student Living: Upper-division living spaces for non-first-year students.

Residence Halls
- Break Housing Request Form: Residence halls are not open during semester/holiday/spring breaks. Learn more, and complete the form to remain in your hall over a break.
- Discipline Record Release: Students, complete this form to allow Residence Life to discuss discipline-related issues with your parent/s.
- Exemption Request Form: Incoming, first-year students are required to live on campus. Complete this form if you qualify for exemptions to this policy.
