Summer Marketing Assistant (Student Position)
Position Summary
Residence Life and Dining is now accepting applications for our summer marketing assistant student position! This seasonal position offers flexible start and end dates.
$14.50/hour | 10 meals per week | 12-20 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Social Media
- Assist in the creation of social media strategy and posting to department social media accounts
- Assist in the growth of the social media accounts (Residence Life Facebook and Instagram, Dining Facebook, Instagram and TikTok)
- Photography
- Ability to shoot and edit photo/video content for social media purposes
- Copywriting
- Edit communications, publications, and reports for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.
- Proofread and edit website content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and proper grammar while maintaining consistency with the brand's tone and style.
- Resource Fairs
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of resource fairs for summer orientation.
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, but not a requirement.

This position may qualify for internship credit. Students should check with their academic programs and internship office to confirm eligibility.
