Global Learning Community

The Global Learning Community brings together students who are interested in global topics, perspectives, and experiences in a supportive and internationally connected community. This community is open to incoming, first-year students; domestic and international students are welcome. The Global Learning Community is coordinated through a partnership between Residence Life and the International Student and Study Abroad Program.

What to expect:

Global to Personal Wellbeing:

The Global Learning Community will also work in conjunction with the Global to Personal Wellbeing course. This course focuses on developing personal wellbeing through the study of global wellbeing practices. For summer 2025, this course will include a study abroad trip to Finland for two weeks. Students who participate in the Finland study abroad experience would move into their residence hall early and then depart on their study abroad experience. (Students are not required to participate in the Global to Personal Wellbeing course to be eligible for this community.)
