Klai Juba Wald ALA Design Studies Library
The Klai Juba Wald Library consists of roughly 24,000 items, including books, journals, media, and A/LA student theses from 1953 to 2009, and a newly-established materials library. The Klai Juba library also contains selected NDSU building drawings, a small rare book collection, and over 40,000 individual 35mm slides. The slide collection includes many images photographed by A/LA faculty during their world travels, and is currently being digitized for inclusion in the Architecture & Landscape Architecture Institutional Repository. The library also provides access to valuable electronic resources including the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals, Art and Architecture Source, Material ConneXion, JSTOR, as well as many multi-disciplinary databases.In addition, the library provides space for individual and group study, computers, and equipment for photocopying and scanning.
