
Find your outdoor adventure here! The Wellness Center offers equipment available for rent to take your wellness outside. The Fargo-Moorhead area has many opportunities in both warm and cold weather to enjoy a variety of activities. Stop by the Wellness Center to learn more about renting equipment. Thanks to a Student Government Campus Projects Grant, we will be adding new equipment in the near future. Equipment Rental Process
Equipment can be rented three different ways for your convenience!
- Stop in to the Wellness Center when Outdoor Adventures is open!
- Call during our open hours at 701-231-7390.
- Complete the reservation form at this link.Please note requests through this form must be received at least 3 days in advance of when you would like to rent the equipment. Completing the form does not guarantee your rental and is subject to the equipment availability.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of winter along the Red River at our guided cross-country ski trip through Lindenwood Park! This trip will give students the opportunity to learn the basics of cross-country skiing while experiencing outdoor recreation in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Gear is provided, but students may bring their own.
Date: Saturday, Feb. 8
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (times listed are when the bus will leave from and arrive back at the Wellness Center)
Location: Lindenwood Park
Cost: $10
Registration opens Jan. 12 and closes Feb. 5.

Spend the day on the slopes at Detroit Mountain! Students will be provided with free transportation to and from Detroit Lakes with the opportunity to ski, snowboard or tube throughout the day.
Date: Saturday, Mar. 1
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (times listed are when the bus will leave and arrive back at the Wellness Center)
Cost: $10 registration fee, students will be responsible to pay for their activities and any equipment needed at Detroit Mountain. Lift Ticket: $52, Ski or Snowboard Rental: $32, 2 Hour Tubing Pass: $20.
Location: Detroit Mountain in Detroit Lakes, MN
Registration opens Jan. 12 and closes Feb. 26.

Explore nature at its finest! This guided hiking trip is ideal for all hiking levels looking to unwind and connect with nature. Grab your boots, pack your spirit of adventure, and join us for an awesome day of hiking.
Date: Saturday, May 3
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (times listed are when the bus will leave from and arrive back at the Wellness Center)
Cost: $10, transportation is provided
Location: North Country Trail
Registration opens Jan. 12 and closes Apr. 30.
Hours
Outdoor Adventures hours vary from our facility hours throughout the year. Regular hours are in effect during fall and spring semesters, with adjusted hours over winter break, spring break and the summer semester. Additional changes may be in effect during holidays.
