Find your outdoor adventure here! The Wellness Center offers equipment available for rent to take your wellness outside. The Fargo-Moorhead area has many opportunities in both warm and cold weather to enjoy a variety of activities. Stop by the Wellness Center to learn more about renting equipment. Thanks to a Student Government Campus Projects Grant, we will be adding new equipment in the near future. Equipment Rental Process
Equipment can be rented three different ways for your convenience!
- Stop in to the Wellness Center when Outdoor Adventures is open!
- Call during our open hours at 701-231-7390.
- Complete the reservation form at this link.Please note requests through this form must be received at least 3 days in advance of when you would like to rent the equipment. Completing the form does not guarantee your rental and is subject to the equipment availability.

Get your friends together and come play yard games on Churchill Field! Challenge your friends to Spikeball, bags, and so much more!
Date: Saturday, Sept. 14, 2-4:30 p.m.
Location: Churchill Field
Cost: FREE
Registration opens August 21 and closes September 13.
Join us for a day of canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and yard games! This trip will give students the opportunity to get out on the lake. Gear is provided, but students may bring their own.
Date: September 28
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (times listed are when the bus will leave and arrive back at the Wellness Center)
Location: Itasca State Park - Minnesota
Cost: $10, Transportation is included
Space is limited to 42 participants
Registration opens August 21 and closes September 25.
Join us for a day of ice skating! No skating experience is required!
Date: Dec. 8
Time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Location: The Lights, 3150 Sheyenne St, West Fargo ND
Cost: $5 for transportation (skate rental is available for $5 at The Lights)
Parking: Students, Faculty, and Staff can use the parking garage on 5th St West.
Registration opens August 21 and closes December 5.
Hours
Outdoor Adventures hours vary from our facility hours throughout the year. Regular hours are in effect during fall and spring semesters, with adjusted hours over winter break, spring break and the summer semester. Additional changes may be in effect during holidays.
