The NDSU Extension logo reflects Extension as part of North Dakota State University and has a modern graphic look.
GRAPHIC, NOT TEXT
The logo must be used as a graphic and may not be recreated in a similar font. Take care to not stretch the logo out of proportion. If you're uncertain how to do this, consult your software help screen.
FOR WEB
- JPG
Used best at 100% of size. Does not resize cleanly. Loses quality after each save.
- PNG
The background stays transparent.
- GIF
Low resolution. Transparent background. Cannot enlarge without quality loss.
FOR PRINT
- WMF (Windows Metafile)
High quality. Scalable without quality loss. Transparent background. Preferred for Windows programs such as Word and PowerPoint. Save the file to your computer (do not double click the file to open it), and then use the “Insert” tab “Picture” to add the image.
- EPS and .AI
High quality. Scalable without quality loss. Preferred for professional design programs (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.). Vendors for promotional products (pens, mugs, shirts, etc.) will want this type of file.
- BMP
High resolution black and white. Transparent background. Good for offset printing. Cannot be enlarged without quality loss.
BLACK
