Darrell Oswald 
District Manager Burleigh County SCD

For the last 21 years Darrell has worked with farmers and ranchers on conservation planning including cropping systems, grazing systems, tree planting and all things conservation. Since 2016, Darrell has man-aged the “Menoken Farm” a conservation demonstration farm owned and operated by the Burleigh SCD. The farm was established in 2009 and is a combination of natural resource education and systems approach conservation. Darrell also farms and ranches with his father Darrell Sr and two daughters near Wing, ND where they employ regenerative agriculture practices and mange their resources with a systems approach.

Charlie Lim
NDSU Extension Weed Specialist

Charlie Lim graduated from Montana State University in 2020 with a gradate degree in weed science and has mostly worked on herbicide resistance in Kochia in row crops production systems. He is currently serving as a weed extension specialist at the Willis-ton REC with focus on weed science research and developing educational materials on weed control and integrated weed management through collaborations with local producers and Ag stakeholders, state weed scientists, industry personnel, and ND commodity groups.

Steve Saunders
Bridger AgVentures, LLC

Steve works as a consulting technical representative for Envu in Montana. He provides technical and stewardship support for Envu’s Range & Pasture products business. He is a past-President of the Montana Weed Control Association, past-Chair of Society for Range Management’s Leadership Development Committee, past-member of MSU Beef Advisory Committee, past-member of NCBA’s Environmental Stewardship Award committee and has authored numerous articles and technical bulletins. A 1978 graduate of Montana State University’s Range Science program. He has worked in agriculture and rangeland ecology for his entire career. Much of his practical ranching and range knowledge came from his family ranch near White Sulphur Springs, MT and from working on ranches in Meagher and Gallatin Counties.

Carley Garner

Carley Garner is a futures and options broker with DeCarley Trading, a division of Zaner Financial Services in Las Vegas, Nevada. With nearly two decades of experience, her commodity market analysis is often referenced on Jim Cramer's Mad Money on CNBC, and she is a regular guest on Bloom-berg Television's Options Insight segment with Abigail Doolittle. You might also see her on the Cow Guy Close hosted by Scott Shellady on RFD-TV and "Futures" aired on Schwab Network. Garner is a regular contributor to TheStreet.com and its Pro service and is also a regular on the speaking circuit. She can be found at TradersEXPOs and MoneyShows throughout the country.

Amanda Radke
Ag Advocate

Amanda Radke is a fifth generation rancher from Mitchell, SD. Alongside her husband, Tyler, and their four children, they operate Radke Land & Cattle, an Angus seedstock operation.
A former National FFA Extemporaneous Speaking Champion and National Beef Ambassador, Radke has spent the last 15 years on the road fighting for agriculture, rural America, and the western way of life. She’s gone head-to-head against animal rights activists, environmental extremists, politicians, and celebrities who seek to eliminate animal agriculture.
 

She believes food security is national security, and her work is focused on keeping producers profitable and on the land to ensure we have a robust, diverse food system. She puts her message into practice working with CK6 Consulting, where she gets to work directly with beef cattle farmers and ranchers in their entrepreneurial pursuits.

She currently serves as an appointee on the National Agriculture Campaign Advisory Council, where she provides industry insights to the U.S. House of Representatives Agriculture Committee.

Radke is also the author of nine children’s books, and her goal is to help promote agricultural literacy in schools and to teach the next generation about where their food comes from.

Josh Hammond 
FarmAssist Consulting

Josh grew up by Golva, ND on a small cow/calf operation. He graduated from DSU with a degree in Farm and Ranch Management. He is also a Certified Crop Adviser. Josh worked 7 years for Ag Soil Science in Minot doing research plots, soil testing and consulting. He managed the Agronomy Department at Beach Coop for 4 years. In 2011 he Founded FarmAssist Consulting. His services include full season crop consulting, soil testing, variable rate map creation and pH mapping. He is a member of the Trusted Adviser Program focusing on soil health practices.

Logan Vandermark 
SDSU Extension Precision Livestock Specialist

Logan completed a bachelor's degree in ecology and conservation with a minor in quantitative analysis following that he completed a master’s in animal science at SDSU. His M.S. research focused on virtual fencing, pasture-based weighing systems, and rangeland cattle energetic models. In his current role Logan disseminates the efficacy of incorporating technology into livestock production systems and what technologies are on the horizon to aid in raising livestock most efficiently. Largely his programming is primarily focused on virtual fencing and animal tracking tags, but also expands into animal supplementation, data management and analysis, as well as cybersecurity.
