Happy New Year!

From everyone at the Carrington Research Extension Center, we wish you a happy 2024!

The New Year is here and so we must reason
it’s already the start of the next growing season.
Keep the new year well within sight --
we have one chance each year for Getting It Right.

There is a reason we find all we can measure:
serving the region is our grandest pleasure,
and if you are looking for a new grain endeavor,
we can offer you Thresher, Stanley, and Treasure.

If your cows are behaving more like a mule
then be sure to check out our Feedlot School!
Even though there is a waitlist in place
it is sure to put a big smile on your face.

Do you need another reason to visit?
Why not consider our living exhibit?
Come see the weeds in our arboretum --
identifying is easier once you come to meet them.

While there is no way to know what this year has in store,
we hope to see you in Carrington, Oakes, Wishek, and more.
All this rhyming is here just to say,
“We wish you all a merry Field Day!”

Every year is different but the one thing we can say for certain is that the new year will bring new challenges, and opportunities to overcome them. Thank you for supporting us in 2023 and we look forward to hearing from you in 2024!
