• Provides leadership to develop and carry out strategic marketing and branding plans for NDSU Agricultural Affairs and NDSU Extension organizational units, programs and products
• Works collaboratively across NDSU Agriculture to share the stories of NDSU research, people and their impact
• Oversees the writing, design and distribution of the For the Land and Its People Newsletter
• Presents in-person training and online webinars to keep staff current on communication, media and marketing topics
• Writes more than 100 news releases per year showcasing NDSU Extension programs and NDAES agricultural research
• Writes, designs and distributes the ANR Exchange newsletter to more than 400 subscribers
• Consults with NDSU Extension county agents, specialists and REC staff to create effective marketing plans
• Serves on the NDSU Agriculture web strategy team to ensure all sites maintain branding standards
