Dr. Branch's research and Extension programs focus on disease management in sugarbeet, serving growers in both North Dakota and Minnesota. Current research priorities include fungicide resistance management and optimizing use of pesticides and cultural strategies to manage sugarbeet diseases and assess impact on yield, recoverable sugar, and farm profitability.
