Peer Mentor Program
The College of Arts and Sciences Peer Mentor program was developed to encourage and support students toward success, personally, socially and academically. The main purpose is to enhance the college experience by creating a positive and supportive community of peers; a welcoming environment of students who are available to advise, listen and share experiences.
An excellent resource for students
Peer Mentors provide guidance by listening and connecting. They aim to build relationships and create opportunities for students to connect; helping them build confidence in their ability to succeed. Peer Mentors support student success by placing students in the right direction towards achieving their personal, educational, and professional goals. They also assist students with their college transition by providing personalized support and encouragement. The mentors have various majors in the College of Arts and Sciences.
