HPV Infection: Immunizing for Cancer Prevention

EVENT DESCRIPTION
In recognition of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Tracie Newman will review HPV epidemiology and pathology, describe HPV vaccine data and recommendations, and discuss HPV vaccine communication strategies.
Tracie Newman, MD, MPH, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with a strong background in public health. She currently serves as the Medical Director of CIRE and is also an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Public Health at NDSU. In addition, she is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
